I change every 2,000 miles or so. Been thinking of going longer since I'm at 13,000 on the odometer and wear metals should have tapered off long ago.

You’re looking at a 2019 Toyota Rav4, and that hole up front used to house a 2.5L engine. It was removed after 120,000 miles to inspect and see how well it held up to extended drain interval oil changes. The first oil change was at 20,000 miles, and then the drain interval was extended further for the subsequent oil changes.
The manual has all this chatter about oil life. I was kind of hoping to have a mileage guide if possible - every 3,500 miles, or every 5,000 miles or every 7,500 miles, or whatever! You will need some plastic tubing, a receptacle for the old fluid (or a brake bleed kit from an auto parts store), a Philips head screwdriver, an 8mm combination wrench, some DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid, and some cloths. I recommend DOT4 fluid if you do a lot of hills and stop and start.
